Prof. Dr. Alexander Chirkov - cardiologist

Born January 27, 1938 in Lom.

Graduate of the Higher Medicine Institute in Sofia, specialized in Germany and USA.

Professor of Freiburg University in Germany since 1981. In 1986, he makes the first heart transplantation in Bulgaria. Twenty years ago, he establishes "St. Ekaterina" Hospital, which he manages until 2005, when he is fired by Minister Gaydarski.

Prof. Chirkov and Hristo Barukchiev are owners of the future "Europe" Camping in Pomorie (still in construction) - the second luxury private hospital in Bulgaria after "Tokuda" hospital.
