Plamen Panayotov - Bulgarian politician

Born January 20, 1958 in Sliven.

Former NDSV Deputy President.
Deputy to the 39th and 40th National Assembly.

Graduate in Law at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Since 1985, he is lecturer in Criminal Law in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Since 1993 he holds a PhD, and in 1998 he becomes Associate Professor.

In June 2001, he becomes deputy to the 39th National Assembly and Deputy President of the NDSV Parliamentary group.

Vice Premier in the Cabinet of Simeon Saxkoburggotski.

He is among the politicians expelled from NDSV in 2007, who form a new Parliamentary group - Bulgarian New Democracy.
