Nataliya Darmantcheva is a bessarabian bulgarian, born in Moldova. 1994 she comes back in the homeland of her ancestors fulfilling the wish to study there. Nataliya finishes her study at the National Academy of Arts in year 2000, with subject "Textile" in the class of Prof. Anna Boyadzhieva. 2008 she gets her PhD in the subject "Science of art and fine arts". Member of the Union of the Bulgarian artists, section "Textile". Lecturer at the National Academy of Arts.
N. Darmantcheva is a very memorable author with participations at numerous prestige exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. She works in the field of the contemporary textile art, uses unique techniques like hand embroidery application, patchwork, handmade paper.
